Never buy anything from this company because I have read very similar reviews everywhere for all of their products. This product did not work properly out of the box, so I sent it to their service center twice, and every time I received the exact same product I originally bought and it still did not work.
Update: February 3, 2009. I was very careful with it. I am very pleased with the picture, sound quality, mobility. I loved this little thing, used it in my home, not in my car. It died last night. So far, I have not experienced any problems. It was just what I was looking for.

The picture and sound are very good. It has a headphone jack which is great on the plane. I would definitely recommend this economical option. We bought this as "insurance" in case our son got antsy traveling by plane (which we do a couple times per year). The price was right and we have had zero issues with this DVD player.
We had borrowed a different brand for awhile but the sound on this one is much louder. Don't know much about battery life since we mainly only use it on the road. Axion AXN6070A 7" Portable DVD PlayerWanted a good DVD player for our granddaughter in the car. It has fallen on the floor several times and not even skipped. I would definitely recommend this product for kids riding in a vehicle. Have had this since Christmas and have been very pleased with it. Picture and sound are both great.
